 Are we facing a Constitutional Crisis? Justice Amy Coney Barrett says we are not yet in a Constitutional Crisis. LWV United States disagreed and declared a Constitutional Crisis. What are the keys to consider in this question? What does such a crisis look like?
 
 Speaker Betsy Massie, Constitution Enthusiast from California will speak to the power and importance of KNOWING the Constitution at this Communications Cafe.
   
 Betsy Massie is an Oregon and California recognized “enthusiast” on the US Constitution. Betsy taught US History and Constitution to alternative high school students for decades before retiring. She currently teaches at Osher Life Long-Learning Institute (OLLI) where she has been a favorite instructor for many years, focusing on the “Constitution in our Everyday Lives.”  Her YouTube Ted Talk on the Constitution “Use It or Lose it” demonstrates her common-citizen approach to the subject and her friendly down-to-earth zeal for the country’s founding document.
 
 Meeting will include time for open discussion & questions. Join other League members statewide and get answers to YOUR questions or share your comments. A recording of the presentation will be shared with registrants following the event. ALL members are welcome.
