Governance Office Hours: Bylaws
Opportunity to meet with LWVUS, state, and local League members to discuss bylaws. Office hours will rotate through various topics and focus on key areas of board governance.
The LWVUS Transformation Team is proud to host capacity-building office hours to increase capacity for state Leagues to exercise political power, support professional paid staff, build organizing strength, and support local Leagues. This will also be a space for League members to be in community with one another.
The first topic for capacity building office hours will focus on an important area of board governance: bylaws. Whether you’re new to the League, preparing for Convention or local League decision-making, or simply wanting a clearer understanding of how our bylaws guide our work, this is a great opportunity to get the clarity you need in conversation with State and Local members.
Office Hours will feature a short presentation by LWVUS staff followed by time to converse and brainstorm with League members.
