The DEI Discussion Group is on a summer hiatus and will be reading a book, for a change, for our next discussion in September 2022. That book selection coincides with the Freedom Readers selection for the same month! How the Word Is Passed, by Clint Smith, will be the prompt. For our discussions this year we have used webcasts, articles, podcasts, and YouTube interviews as our prompts. They tend to require little time but lots of thought. Since we are taking the summer off, we decided that a whole book would be doable. Those who are in both Freedom Readers and DEI will get a double hit!
