Civics 101: Civics is for Everybody

Please join us for this civics refresher geared to citizens of all ages. During an interactive 90-minute session we will explore the meaning and importance of civic involvement as the means to support a civil democracy. We will discuss the importance of the simple act of voting and review Oregon's governmental structure at the state and local levels. We will also discuss types of civic involvement so participants can consider levels of engagement works for them.

This session was developed with SAGE, (Senior Advocates for Generational Equity) and an organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting people over fifty to give forward so that future generations thrive.
