In carrying out our Mission of encouraging informed and active participation in government, the League of Women Voters of Deschutes County hosts many Candidate Forums.

We are committed to providing fair, nonpartisan informational forums that are free and open to the public.

April 9

Oregon Secretary of State Candidate Forum - Democratic

Oregon Secretary of State Candidate Forum - Republican

April 15

Deschutes County Commissioner Position #2 Candidate Forum If one candidate in this race gets over 50%, that candidate will be elected to office. If no candidate gets over 50% then there will be a runoff election in November with the top 2 candidates.

April 16

US House Representatives: District 5 Candidate Forum - Democratic The Republican primary is an uncontested race.

April 17

Oregon Senate Seats 28 Candidate Forum - Republican No Democrats filed for this position, so the winner of this primary will most likely become the State Senator for District 28.
